Visual Research Age 3.5 – 12

An inclusive design research project of country parks in Hong Kong co-led by The Public Design Lab of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design, CreativeKids.

This calendar captures some of the design processes and products as children and teenagers made visual research and utilized the three I’s Design Thinking Framework for Children (Inquire > Ideate > Improvise).

Youngsters develop qualities of a researcher, designer and change-maker through sharpening their senses toward the wonders of nature and adopting inclusive public design’s way of thinking and practice in a real-life setting (in Shing Mun Country Park).

Adults gain understanding of how youngsters perceive possibilities and problems in their environment and ways to solve them
