We understand that as academic pressures increase (especially after age 7), children’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning can diminish. The joy of exploration and discovery can sometimes get lost amidst a heavy workload. Many parents are seeking a more balanced approach to their child’s development – one that nurtures not only academic knowledge but also emotional intelligence and a positive learning attitude.
Young Creator Workshop
Our enriching four-day (half-day) workshops, designed specifically for children aged 7-12, reignite their passion for learning through interactive art creation and design projects. In these workshops, children will:
* Develop Independent Thinking: Take ownership of their creative process, from concept to completion, fostering decision-making skills.
* Rediscover the Joy of Creation: Freely express their imagination and enjoy the beauty of art in a pressure-free environment.
* Build Confidence: Witness their own capabilities and gain a sense of accomplishment through completing their projects.
* Cultivate Problem-Solving Skills: Learn to overcome challenges independently, developing adaptability and resilience.
More than just a summer activity, these workshops empower children with lifelong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, enriching their overall learning journey.
Special Invitation for Parents Participating This Summer
We believe in involving parents in their child’s creative development. Through their artwork and creative process, you’ll gain valuable insights into your child’s unique thinking style, boundless potential, and hidden talents that may not be apparent in traditional academic settings. Parents who enroll their children in our summer learning are invited to attend our Creative Parenting Sharing hosted by our founder, Dr. Angie. This interactive session will provide you with:
* Understanding Your Child Through Art & Design: Learn how to interpret your child’s inner world through their creative expressions.
* Expert Advice on Nurturing Creativity: Gain practical tips and strategies for fostering your child’s creative growth.
