Privacy Policy
CreativeKids (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates art and design education programmes for children, youth and adults in Hong Kong. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”).
Personal data we collect
We may collect personal data when you or your child interact with us in different ways, including when you enrol in our regular programmes, register for special events or workshops, visit our studios, use our website or social media pages, contact us, or take part in surveys, contests or promotions.
Depending on the situation, we may collect:

Student details
Name, age, date of birth, school level, enrolled programme, class or event schedule, attendance, learning notes, and artworks created in class or at events. -
Parent / guardian / adult student and other contact details
Name, telephone number, email address, correspondence address, relationship to student, emergency contact and similar information. -
Administrative, payment and event information
Enrolment and registration forms for regular classes and special events, invoices, payment records (payment card or bank details are normally handled via third‑party payment processors, where applicable), preferred location and time slot, responses in event or campaign forms, and any other information you choose to provide. -
Communications
Records of enquiries, feedback and correspondence by email, phone, WhatsApp or other messaging and social media tools. -
Photos, videos and media
Images or videos taken during classes, workshops, outreach activities, pop‑up events or exhibitions that may show students, parents / guardians and their artworks (see “Photos, videos and artworks” below). -
Website / online information
IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, time spent, general location (for example, city‑level) and other usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies, including through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
Providing certain personal data is necessary for enrolment, event registration, class / event administration and safety. If you do not provide such data, we may not be able to process your application or provide the relevant services.
How we use personal data
We may use personal data collected through enrolment forms, event registrations, online forms, surveys, contests, studio visits and other interactions for the following purposes:

Processing applications, waitlists, enrolments and registrations for regular programmes, special events, workshops, outreach activities and campaigns.

Managing schedules, attendance, make‑up lessons (where applicable), event logistics and studio operations.

Photos, videos and artworks
During classes, workshops, outreach activities, pop‑ups and events, we may take photos and videos that show students, parents / guardians and their artworks.
We may use these photos, videos and selected artworks for:

Sharing learning moments with parents / guardians privately (for example, via email or messaging apps).

Promotional and publicity purposes, including our website, social media pages, printed materials and exhibitions, in line with the choices you indicate on the enrolment or event registration form or later in writing.
If you do not consent to the use of identifiable photos or videos of you / your child for promotional purposes, you can indicate this on the relevant form or notify us at any time by email, and we will respect and record your preference.
Direct marketing
We may use your name, email address and telephone number to send you information about:

Regular classes and term programmes.

Holiday camps, workshops and special events.

Exhibitions, sharing sessions and other activities organised by us.
We will only use your personal data for direct marketing in accordance with the PDPO and, where required, after obtaining your consent or indication of no objection. You may opt out of receiving direct marketing messages at any time, free of charge, by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or by contacting us using the details in the “Contact us” section below.
Disclosure and transfer of personal data
We do not sell or rent personal data. Personal data may be disclosed or transferred to the following parties where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

Our staff and instructors who need the information to perform their duties.

Service providers that process data on our behalf, such as IT support, web hosting, payment processors, communication platforms, analytics and marketing service providers, and printing and mailing providers.

Personal data that is no longer needed will be erased or anonymised as far as reasonably practicable.

We use Google Tag Manager to help manage and load certain scripts, and we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site so that we can improve our content and services. Children’s data and parental consent
For students under 18, we collect and use their personal data through their parents or legal guardians, who complete our forms and communicate with us on their behalf. By enrolling a child or registering them for an event, the parent / guardian confirms that they have authority to provide the child’s personal data and to give any necessary consents on the child’s behalf.
Parents / guardians may exercise access and correction rights in respect of their child’s data as described in this Privacy Policy.
Third‑party websites
Our website and communications may contain links to external websites or services (for example, payment platforms or social media pages). These sites are not operated by us and are governed by their own privacy policies, which you should review before providing any personal data.
Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements or other reasons. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date indicated at the top.
