Presented by Students of Design Foundation Program (Ages 8-12)
Join us to celebrate how art and design can be a creative and cross-cultural way to learn. In a recent Design Foundation module, “Exploring Ancient Egyptian Wonders”, our students developed critical thinking and design skills, while gaining an understanding of culture, history, religion and geography. Bring your children and challenge their curiosity with mysteries of an ancient civilization.

(2) Design Foundation Program (Mother's Day Workshop) for children aged 6.5 to 12
This workshop is part of our educational exhibition “Exploring Ancient Egyptian Wonders” currently displayed in Taikoo Shing. It allows children aged 6.5 to 12 to explore jewelry design inspired by Egyptian culture and create a unique gift for their beloved mothers. It’s a valuable experience for them to delve into product design for the first time.

(3) New Module Coming Soon
Design Foundation Program is a cross-curricular design program integrating KiDesign, Young Architects Program and Design Basics modules aimed to:
- Introduce design thinking, elements, principles and problem-solving to children who are passionate with 3D creation
- Develop technical skills such as idea sketching, visualization, model-making, and presentation
- Lay a solid foundation for future pursuits in design and architecture disciplines

Animal-inspired Design & Engineering
Observe animal movement and structures. Explore design and engineering through ‘Animal-automatons’ and architectural ‘Bone-chitecture’ architectural models inspired by animal bones, fostering creativity and structural understanding.
