A cross-curricular design program integrating KiDesign, Young Architects Program and Design Basics modules’

• Introduce design thinking, elements, principles and problem-solving to children who are passionate with 3D creation
• Develop technical skills such as idea sketching, visualization, model-making, and presentation
• Lay a solid foundation for future pursuits in design and architecture disciplines

Experiental Workshop for Aged 6-12
Parent-Child Design Lab for Children Aged 7-12
Many hold the belief that design education only commences at the college level. However, the exploration of design can, and indeed should, begin at a much earlier age. The Design Foundation Workshop offers a perfect initial step for parents and students aged 7 to 12, giving them a first-hand design program experience. We are excited to announce that we will host three rounds of “Two-Sunday Afternoon Workshop” this academic year.
The six-hour experiential workshop allows students to explore the concepts of design thinking and design. It helps them understand the knowledge they can acquire in their regular curriculum and enables them to tackle real-life problems. This workshop also helps parents gain a better understanding of the learning objectives of the foundational design course (Heart, Mindset, Skillset, and Knowledge).
- Workshop A: Six hours from the bottom of the ocean, Oct 29th & Nov 5th, 2023. Sunday
- Workshop B: Six hours return to the Jurassic, Apr 14th & 21st, 2024. Sunday
- Workshop C: Six hours beyond Earth into Space Odyssey, Jun 23rd & 30th, 2024. Sunday
- Time: 2:30-5:30pm
- Venue: CreativeKids Museum Studio – TaiKoo Shing
- Participant ages: 7 to 12 years old (We invite a parent to join the 2nd day of the workshop from 4:00 to 5:30 pm on November 5, 2023, assisting with prototype creation and presentations. It is a great way to engage in your child’s learning.)

Design Foundation Workshop for Ages 6-8

- 11am – 12:30pm (Oct 28, 4, 11, 18)

- Fee: $1,650 (original fee $1,840), 4 sessions total 6 hours
- Once the class schedule is confirmed, only ONE make-up lesson can be arranged with a proof document presented for sickness and the school’s must-attend events
