Ever Wonder What Your Child's School Day is Really Like?
Instead of “Good,” “Fine,” or “Okay,” see their world through the eyes of their classmates!
Project: My Invisible Buddies
Students use imagination and associative skills to illustrate invisible elements of school life as small characters. Design a series of model figures using clay combined with other materials.
Creative Outcomes:
- Innermost Feelings/Emotions/Thoughts: Students explore, express and
understand their innermost emotions and thoughts, reflecting on personal beliefs and values. - Creative and Expression: They learn to represent abstract concepts through imaginative art.
Insights:
- Students use personification in their creations, unexpectedly giving their invisible companions titles like Mr./Ms.
- The artistic creation process fosters originality and creativity, guiding students to transform abstract concepts into characters.

Our students created adorable “My Invisible Buddies” clay characters. Tap a character to bring their invisible friends to life in an augmented reality experience!
